Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco, Santa Teresa and Aguas Calientes:
They are picked up from the hotel between 7:20 to 7:45, to leave the city of Cusco at approximately 8:00 am on the Machu Picchu by Car route, on our route we will pass through the Sacred Valley of the Incas until we arrive to the Malaga pass, which is the highest point of the route, 4,316 meters above sea level, where we will have a small stop and from where we can appreciate the scenic beauty of the place.
We begin the descent towards the jungle eyebrow passing through different elevational floors where we can appreciate the scenic beauty surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains, rivers and forests until we reach the town of Santa María, where the unpaved dirt road begins, where we will have a small stop for the use of services and purchase of snacks, water, etc. then we continue our way to the town of Santa Teresa arriving at 2:00 p.m. approximately, where we will have lunch in a restaurant in the area (note, lunch is basic since there are no good restaurants in the area) and finally after lunch arrive at Hidroeléctrica, where you must approach the train station if you want to go by train from Hidroeléctrica to Aguas Calientes and buy your roundtrip train tickets that same moment, the travel time is 50 minutes by train. And if you want to go on foot, the travel time is approximately 2.30 hours from Hidroeléctrica to the town of Aguas Calientes
The meeting point in Aguas Calientes will be at the Plaza de Armas from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm where our guide will call you by name to transfer you to your hostel, have dinner and there the guide will provide you with all the necessary information for your tour to Machu Picchu the next day.
If you wish, you will have free time where you can visit the hot springs at 7:00 p.m. (optional, on your own),

Day 2: Guided tour in Machu Picchu:
This day we will get up very early to have breakfast that will be served from 4:00 a.m. and then make the ascent to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, either on foot (50 minutes) or by bus (25 minutes, cost 25 dollars Ascent and descent not included), the meeting point with the guide will be at the entrance gate of Machupicchu at the time indicated by the guide one day before the start of the tour, the entrance to the citadel for your guided tour will be with the guide , The guided tour will last approximately 2 hours, having 1 hour free to visit on your own and take pictures, at the latest you must take the bus down or make the descent from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes on foot at 11 : 30 am so you can have lunch on your own and board the return train to the hydroelectric plant, the same one that departs from Aguas Calientes 12:35 pm, if you decide to walk from Aguas Calientes to Hidroeléctrica, you must leave the town of Aguas Calientes bound for Hidroeléctr ica at 12:00 pm, sharp.
At Hidroeléctrica we will be waiting for you in the Mini Bus at 2:30 p.m., we will continue our trip to the city of Cusco where we will be arriving at 9:30 p.m. approximately, we will leave you near the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.
